CCL is one of 14 Mid-Hudson Library System libraries selected to become a Library of Local hub. The Library of Local is an initiative from Partners for Climate Action Hudson Valley and MHLS.

Our participation gives us access to a collection of books, seeds, and other resources that give our community tools to take action on the climate crisis. A slate of educational events and workshops are also offered free of charge at local libraries across the Hudson Valley.

Our kiosk, made by Hudson Valley-based artist Johnny Poux contains a curated collection of materials focusing on regenerative land use, green building, renewable energy, and climate change as well as a seed library. Be sure to check it out the next time you visit!
