If you were a ball field and your season was curtailed, wouldn’t a literary purpose be the ticket! Clinton Community Library took the opportunity to do a StoryWalk. The book on outdoor display is The Birdwatchers by Simon James. With the help of a team of teens and adults, this tale about a child and grandfather is ready to read. Come on over to 1215 Centre Road! Ages 3-8 recommended.
What is a StoryWalk?
“StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are […] installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story… StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.”
Our StoryWalk was installed brilliantly on the lawn of Clinton campus:
Thank you to Angela, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Joshua, Gabriel and Teresa (not pictured) for help with the installation!
