The Clinton Community Library’s Board of Trustees wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Teresa McGuirk (left in photo) upon her retirement as Director of the Clinton Community Library effective July 6, 2019. Teresa agreed to become our Director at a time where we were facing significant challenges and the future existence of the Library was uncertain. Working closely with our Board of Trustees, Teresa demonstrated true leadership and uncommon courage as she successfully faced each challenge. Her contributions to the recent success of the Library are too numerous to list here but perhaps her greatest accomplishment is that the Library is once again viewed as the heart of our Community. The Board of Trustees will be planning a special recognition event for Teresa at the Library in the not too distant future.
The Board is extremely pleased to announce that Carol Bancroft (right in photo) has agreed to become our new Library Director. Carol has a long and distinguished history of employment at the Clinton Community Library working to coordinate the Library’s award-winning schedule of programs, and most recently she has served as Assistant Director. We are confident that Carol is prepared to maintain the level of high-quality Library services that our community residents have come to expect from the Clinton Community Library.
