School Supply Drive

For the past five years the Pleasant Plains Presbyterian Church, with the assistance of Clinton Community Library and other churches in the town, has collected hundreds of school book bags and supplies for families and students in the region. The items will be distributed initially on Sat. August 26 between 10AM-12PM at the church on Fiddler’s Bridge Road and Hollow Road. All remaining book bags and supplies will then be turned over to the Hyde Park Central School District for further distribution. Only new book bags and supplies are being collected and the supply list has been provided by the district.

Items For Use By Students: book bags/backpacks, Crayola washable markers, Crayola colored pencils, Ticonderoga #2 pencils, pencil box/pouch, glue sticks, dry erase markers, children’s scissors, pink erasers, composition notebooks, 2-pocket folders (heavy duty plastic), 1″ 3-ring binders, 3×3 Post-it notes, Elmer’s glue

Items For General Classroom Use: boxes of tissues, Clorox wipes, paper towels
